Knight Rider may be coming back to a big screen near you and David Hasselhoff thinks it is going to be a great success. Hasselhoff played the lead character in the original TV series from 1982 to 1986 and now thinks that a movie reboot of the show would be a great idea for the market available right now. The actor said the idea came to life over an "iced tea" with filmmaker James Gunn. Both of them liked the idea and now are fighting to get the rights to make the film. They also want to make sure they stay true to the premise of the show and not change it into what Hasselhoff said, "some stupid farce."
