VIDEO : Luc Besson Has Reportedly Already Written A Script For Lucy 2

According to a report from Screen Rant, a sequel to Luc Besson's 2014 science fiction movie Lucy is currently in development. The original, starring Scarlett Johansson, performed only modestly well domestically, but managed to gross over 463 million at the worldwide box-office. EuropaCorp CEO Marc Shmuger told Variety that the company plans on readjusting their lineup following the commercial failure of Besson?s most recent film, Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets, this past summer. According to Shmuger, part of that adjustment includes developing Lucy 2, which Besson has reportedly already written a script for. However, it remains unclear whether Johansson will be returning for the sequel.
