Domhnall Gleeson was so surprised by the change of direction for the Star Wars movie "The Last Jedi" that he actually had to speak to the writer and director of the film, Rian Johnson. Gleeson wanted to confirm that this is the direction the film was going. Gleedson told Collider that the movie is different from what he expected but that he thinks it's a "positive thing" and that it is important for films such as Star Wars to not repeat themselves.
