More entertainers are coming out in support of athletes and the right to peaceful protest surrounding what has now become a national debate over taking a knee during the National Anthem. The debate was given new life when on Friday President Trump incited anger during a rally in Alabama, suggesting that NFL players who take a knee like Colin Kaepernick were un-patriotic, S.O.B.'s, and should be fired, and not in that order. On Tuesday Actor George Clooney added his voice to the conversation sharing a short poem, the Oscar-winning actor and director wrote. Clooney wrote that he was praying for America?s children, police, those in the military, and that ?dissent will always be protected in this great country.?
