American presidents aren't off limits in the Kingsman movie franchise. Director Matthew Vaughn almost included Donald Trump jokes in his latest movie Kingsman: The Golden Circle. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Vaughn revealed that the original script for the sequel to 2015's Kingsman: The Secret Service contained at least two references to Donald Trump. One reference was in the film's dialogue and another in production design. So, why did he remove Trump from the film? Vaughn said "I think America?s going through a pretty interesting and rough ride at the moment and I wanted this movie to be escapism."
