Kingsman is returning to the box office in style as the sequel to the surprise 2014 hit shoots to the top of the chart in its opening weekend. The sequel earned $15.7 million on Friday and is projected for an opening weekend total of more than $40 million from 4,003 locations. That?s an improvement over the $36 million opening weekend for Kingsman: The Secret Service despite the first movie having more favorable reviews. It may not be in the top spot anymore after this weekend, but the Stephen King horror film is still going strong.
