According to Universal Pictures, actress Jamie Lee Curtis is returning to the horror movie franchise 'Halloween'. The actress confirmed the news on her Twitter account, writing, " Jamie Lee Curtis will reprise her iconic role as Laurie Strode in Blumhouse?s upcoming ?Halloween? sequel." According to the film's plot, Strode will have her final confrontation with masked serial killer Michael Myers, who has haunted her since the horror franchise's first movie nearly four decades ago. David Gordon Green, who is directing the movie, and Danny McBride are scripting the film, which is due out in theatres October 19, 2018.
