"Gossip Girl" could have been a whole different story if they had chosen another actress for the part of Serene van der Woodsen. According to Vulture, Jennifer Lawrence auditioned for the part 10 years ago. Josh Schwartz does not remember seeing the audition tape but said he was told about it and that she was "bummed" when she did not get the part. Instead the role went to actress Blake Lively. Gossip Girl's 10th anniversary is September 19.
