Pop Star Selena Gomez revealed that she had gotten a kidney transplant over the summer to treat her lupus, with an Instagram post of herself in a hospital bed holding hands with her good friend, Francia Raísa, who donated the kidney. Selena wrote in her instagram post, "There aren?t words to describe how I can possibly thank my beautiful friend Francia Raisa. She gave me the ultimate gift and sacrifice by donating her kidney to me. I am incredibly blessed. I love you so much sis." The two have been friends for more than eight years.
