Jim Carrey is set to star in a straight-to-series Comedy on Showtime, Kidding. The show will reunite the actor with his Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind writer-director Michel Gondry, who will helm the series and with I'm Dying Up Here co-EP Dave Holstein, who created the new series. The show will mark Carrey's first series regular television role in more than two decades. He'll star as an icon of children's TV who also anchors a multimillion-dollar branding empire. But things begin to unravel when his wife implodes .. resulting in a slow leak of his sanity that is both hilarious and heartbreaking.
