Rebel Wilson has been awarded $4.56 million Australian dollars in damages over magazine articles she says cost her Hollywood film roles. The articles claimed Wilson lied about her age, the origins of her name, and her upbringing in Sydney. Justice John Dixon said the substantial award was required to "vindicate" Wilson after her reputation as an "actress of integrity was wrongly damaged." 37-year-old Wilson was not in attendance at court on Wednesday for the verdict.
