A source told CNN that Patty Jenkins has signed on with Warner Bros. Pictures to helm the sequel to "Wonder Woman." In a sleepy summer box office, 'Wonder Woman' stood out as a shining spot, grossing more than $410 million domestically. Warner Bros. officially announced a sequel in July and since then Jenkins has been sharing some of her ideas for the follow-up. She said she wants to bring the story stateside, telling Entertainment Weekly, "She's Wonder Woman. She's got to come to America. It's time." The 'Wonder Woman' sequel is expected to hit theaters on December 13, 2019.
