On Monday it was reported that ?Wonder Woman? director Patty Jenkins has closed a deal to the direct the hit DC movie's sequel. Reports say that like the first movie, ?Wonder Woman 2? will be a period piece, with Princess Diana facing off against the Soviet Union during the 1980s. 'Wonder Woman', which was extremely well received by audiences and critics, has grossed over $800 million worldwide. Its $404 million domestic total also puts it seventh all-time for superhero movies. The sequel is currently due to reach movie theaters on December 13, 2019.
