A replacement director for Star Wars: Episode IX may not be so hard to find. During an interview with star wars creator George Lucas from 40 years ago, Lucas himself could be the man for the job. Not long after the original Star Wars hit theaters, Lucas spoke with Rolling Stone about his intentions for the series. he said that he wanted to let other directors do future films before returning. lucas had stated, ?What I want to do is direct the last sequel. I could do the first one and the last one and let everyone else do the ones in between.?
