Writer and director Rian Johnson found Kylo Ren "so much fun" to write for 'Star Wars: The Last Jedi'. Johnson helms the upcoming eighth installment of the popular sci-fi franchise. He's said the movie's villain Kylo Ren, played by Adam Driver, was one of his favorite roles to write. Johnson believes that despite the character's evil streak he is someone audiences can "relate" to. Johnson continued "He's not Vader - at least, he's not Vader yet - and that's something I really wanted to get into."
