The first image of Rami Malek as Freddie Mercury has been released. The Queen biopic has been in development for the last few years with Sacha Baron Cohen and Ben Wishaw first attached to play Mercury. In July, Malek signed on to play the legendary rock band's frontman with X-Men filmmaker Bryan Singer at the helm. Malek said he was taken aback upon seeing himself for the first time in hair and makeup as the iconic singer. Bohemian Rhapsody is scheduled for a December 25, 2018 release.
