Early reviews are in for Darren Aronofsky's latest horror film "mother!" starring Jennifer Lawrence. Most critics praised the film for being inventive and thrilling but criticized it for being more style than substance. The Hollywood Reporter's Todd McCarthy said, it "both pulls you in with its intriguing central dramatic situation and pushes you out with some mightily far-fetched plot contrivances."
