At this year's Venice Film Festival, George Clooney was asked if he would ever consider running for President of the United States someday. According to the Daily Beast, Clooney responded, "Would I like to be the next president? Oh, that sounds like fun." The political questions were in line with discussions about the origins of the ?Suburbicon? screenplay, which Clooney claims came from watching Trump speeches on the campaign trail. Matt Damon, one of the film's stars, added, "Can I just say that I?d like anybody to be the next president of the United States. Right away, please.?
