Serena Williams went into labor and gave birth to a baby girl on Friday september 1st. The baby is a first for Serena and her fiancé Alexis Ohanian. the news was announced by the US Open and eventually leaked out on to Twitter with well wishes. According to the tennis organization, the baby girl is 6-pounds and 13-ounces and was born around noon.
