Although no official offer is on the table, Business Insider reports that actor Leonardo DiCaprio could star as The Joker in an upcoming movie. The film is reported to be a "spin off of Warner Bros.' DC Comics Extended Universe." The Hollywood Reporter also reveals that Martin Scorsese, who has worked with DiCaprio before, could be the film's producer and lure Leo into the project. Although actor Jared Leto played The Joker in Suicide Squad, reports say that he will not be in the new DC production. Deadline says that Todd Phillips of "The Hangover" is set to direct the movie.
