Filmmaker Kevin Smith has revealed that the Jay and Silent Bob reboot will begin filming this fall. According to Smith, the movie will serve as a belated sequel to 2001's Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back. In the movie, Smith along with Jason Mewes will once again head to Hollywood, this time looking to halt the production of Bluntman vs. Chronic, a dark and gritty reboot that pits the two superhero doppelgangers against one another. When originally announced back in February, the indie cinema icon described the Jay and Silent Bob Reboot as ?a tongue-in-cheek, silly-ass satire that pokes fun at the movie business?s recent re-do obsession?.
