Actor David Oyelowo has reportedly joined the cast of the movie adaptation of the science fiction fantasy series 'Chaos Walking'. Oyelowo, who is best known for his role in the movie 'Selma', will play a character named Aaron, the mad priest of Prentisstown. In the books, Aaron regularly finds himself at odds with the protagonist Todd, hoping he will stray from his moral path and commit murder in order to elevate the priest to sainthood. The role of Todd will be played by 'Spider-Man: Homecoming' star Tom Holland, while 'Star Wars' actress Daisy Ridley has been cast to play the film's fellow protagonist Viola.
