Bill Nighy had no idea that Davy Jones appeared in Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, but he would love to return for the sequel.
In an interview with Empire Magazine, Nighy said that he wasn?t aware that his tentacled character, Davy Jones, had cameoed in the latest Pirates of the Caribbean film since he, presumably, hadn?t seen it yet. It wasn?t until his cab driver mentioned it that he was made aware of the cameo:
