VIDEO : 'Episodes' Storyline Inspired By Matt LeBlanc's Real-Life Stalker

Celebrity in this news:

In a recent article on The Hollywood Reporter, actor Matt LeBlanc tells Lesley Goldberg that a storyline from season 2 of his Showtime comedy "Episodes" was drawn from a real life experience. "We did a stalker storyline that was based on reality. David, Jeffrey and I were having dinner in London, and this woman was there watching us. I went to the bar, and she started asking me a bunch of questions. She was clearly stalking me, but harmless." But according to LeBlanc, the former "Friends" actor fooled his writers, saying "I thought it would be funny to wind them up and tell them that I got her number and was going to go out with her. I kept it going for a few days, and they thought I was crazy: "She's going to kill you!" Which is how the casual encounter got turned into the story of a Make-a-Wish Foundation worker who stalked LeBlanc's character in season two. But the actor was quick to point out that his run-in wasn't as sensational as the fictionalized version, adding: "After it was in the script, I told them I never went out with her. We had a good laugh about it."
