Academy Award winner Alan Arkin best known from Little Miss Sunshine will play Wall Street tycoon J. Griffin Remington in Tim Burton?s live-action film Dumbo. He will star alongside Colin Farrell, Michael Keaton, Eva Green, Danny DeVito, and newcomers Nico Parker and Finley Hobbins. The film is loosely based on Walt Disney?s 1941 animated classic Dumbo. Disney?s upcoming live-action version features Farrell as Holt Farrier, a retired circus star returned home from the war.The film will still include everyones favorite elephant Dumbo; a baby elephant, who's ears are so oversized, it becomes the laughing stock of the show. But everything changes when he is taught to fly. The once laughed at elephant becomes famous. Dumbo fly's theaters on March 29th, 2019.
