The 17-year music career of Pink will be honored at the MTV Video Music Awards --the artist will receive the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award, which honors musicians who have had an impact on pop culture with their songs, fashion and music videos. Previous winners include Peter Gabriel, Justin Timberlake, and Madonna. Pink's debut album was released in 2000 and her seventh album, Beautiful Trauma comes out on October 13.
