Ali Wong and Randall park are teaming up to star in a romantic comedy for Netflix, and they've already started writing the script with Michael Golamco.
The film "follows two childhood friends who find themselves in vastly different socioeconomic situations when they fall in love as adults," according to Deadline. Netflix is also quickly moving forward with hiring a director.
Wong, who served as a writer for Fresh Off the Boat, that Park stars in, has previously spoken out about how the entertainment industry has finally been changing by hiring more actors and writers of color.
