Kate Winslet is in a new thriller, "The Mountain Between Us". The film is based on Charles Martin's survival thriller novel of the same name. The movie is about two strangers who are stranded on a mountain after a tragic plane crash. Winslet has admitted the harsh weather conditions in the Purcell Mountains near Calgary and the scene where she came face to face with a lion frightened her. Winslet also revealed that she "loved" working on the project. She was not fazed by the obstacles and actually felt "excited" by the "physical challenges." The film also stars Idris Elba and releases on October 6, 2017.
