Horror film director John Carpenter is set to helm an unknown TV pilot written by 'X-Men' and 'X-2' scribe David Hayter. In his announcement, Hayter didn?t reveal what the show he and Carpenter are collaborating on is about. However, its most likely appealing as it drew Carpenter out of a directing hiatus and put him back behind the camera. Whatever the pilot in question ends up being about is sure to draw a lot of viewers solely based on the fact that it will be Carpenter?s first directing gig in over seven years.
