According to Screenrant.com, Angelina Jolie and her father Jon Voight have had plenty of trouble in the past. However, they seem agree that his relationship with Jolie?s mother has been the root of their issues. Specifically, Voight had an affair, separated from Jolie?s mother, and eventually divorced her. Jolie saw it as him abandoning his children as well. After Voight and Jolie appeared together in 'Tomb Raider,' Voight publicly blamed the divorce for Jolie?s ?mental problems.? Jolie?s promptly broke off contact with him. Eventually, under Brad Pitt's influence, father and daughter reconciled in 2010. Since then, the relationship seems to have improved, with Jolie?s kids providing the glue that helps hold them together.
