Don't worry, Star Wars fans. "The Last Jedi" is not a remake of "The Empire Strikes Back."
Writer/director Rian Johnson admits his film has some parallels to The Empire Strikes Back.
But it will not be a beat-for-beat remake of that aStar Wars classic.
One of the most common criticisms against The Force Awakens is that it ?borrowed? a little too liberally from "A New Hope."
Johnson has assured the fan base these concerns are hardly warranted.
