Over the weekend at the box office. James Wan's thriller "Annabelle Creation" stirred things up in a triumphant win taking the number one spot in it's opening weekend and quenching the summer audiences thirst for horror. "Annabelle Creation" is a prequel to the prequel 2013's The Conjuring which also scored big at the box office. Annabelle Creation banked $35million, on a $15million dollar budget, a big win for the Wan horror franchise. Dunkirk snagged the number two spot. Open Road's animated sequel The Nut Job 2 followed at No. 3.
