Brooke Shields has scored a recurring role on the 19th season of "Law & Order: SVU." The 52-year-old actress said in a statement, ?I play a very different character from any I have ever played. I'm excited to stir the SVU pot a bit.? Specific details regarding Shields' role have yet to be revealed, but her character is expected to create obstacles for Mariska Hargitay's Olivia Benson. Also joining SVU's upcoming season is Philip Winchester who will reprise his role as attorney Peter Stone. "Law & Order: SVU" returns Wednesday, September 27th on NBC.
