After hearing the news, the 29-year-old singer took to social media to share his feelings for Moretz as well, reaching out to her on Twitter to ask her out on a date. Carter wrote, "May I take you to dinner @ChloeGMoretz?" Minutes later he followed up with a second message: "Hey @ChloeGMoretz - let's set up a date. The crush is mutual."Moretz has yet to respond.
