VIDEO : Why Did Beckinsale Pass On 'Wonder Woman'

It's hard to imagine Wonder Woman without Gal Gadot. However, the role was offered to actress Kate Beckinsale, who is more known for the Underworld franchise. In the early 2000's Beckinsale was in talks to take on the iconic DC role. So, why did Beckinsale opt out of the film? It seems the version of Wonder Woman Beckinsale was offered was nowhere near the quality of the Patty Jenkins and Gal Gadot's version.
