Following a low-profile 12 months for Taylor Swift, the superstar has put herself back in the spotlight in a sexual assault trial this week in Denver, Colorado. Rather than settling out of court, the 27-year-old is expected to testify in the civil case against a former Denver DJ. The 55-year-old DJ, David Mueller, previously sued Swift, claiming he lost his job after she told his manager that he had grabbed her under her skirt during a meet-and-greet session in Denver four years ago. Swift countersued Mueller for assault and is seeking a symbolic $1 in damages. Swift has said she wants the case to serve as an example to other women "who may resist publicly reliving similar outrageous and humiliating acts."
