VIDEO : 'Deadpool' Animated Series on FX to be Different From Movie

The new 'Deadpool' animated series will be unique in tone, different from the film it originated from. The R-rated action-comedy film, starring Ryan Reynolds, was a hit last year, and it will be followed up with a sequel from Fox that's currently in production. Back in May, it was revealed that FX would be teaming with Donald and Stephen Glover to create a 'Deadpool' animated series. During the TCA 2017, FX head John Landgraf confirmed that the 'Deadpool' series will stand on its own. There's no word yet on when the series will arrive, but it will likely be sometime in 2018.
