VIDEO : FX CEO: 'Deadpool' Animated Series Will Be Different From Movie

The popular Marvel movie "Deadpool" is headed to a TV near you, in the form of an animated series. But don't expect it to be exactly like the film, FX CEO John Landgraf says. "It has a different tone and editorial voice as evidenced by Donald and Stephen Glover, who have their own voice and tone. We really wanted to make something that was distinctly different from the movies," Landgraf said during the Television Critics Associations? summer press tour. The Glover brothers are showrunners, writers, and executive producers of the show. A premiere date for the 10-episode season has yet to be announced.
