VIDEO : Netflix, Amazon, Showtime Wanted 'Star Trek: Discovery'

"Star Trek: Discovery" will air on CBS All Access, but before the decision was made, other streaming services competed for the upcoming series. CBS CEO Les Moonves told investors recently that he could have sold the series to Netflix, Amazon, or Showtime for a hefty sum, but CBS chose to invest in itself. Moonves said, ?We determined that Star Trek would be far better for All Access and will earn us more money.? CBS All Access will include NFL, 'Star Trek: Discovery,' and more original programming. "Star Trek: Discovery" will premiere September 24th on CBS.
