"You're the Worst" season four sees its main characters Jimmy and Gretchen, played by Chris Geere and Aya Cash respectively, meeting again three months after he abandoned her in the Hollywood Hills after proposing. Of the season, Cash said, "You can see the ripples of [Gretchen's clinical depression] in almost everything. This season, you'll see Gretchen in more of a manic state than more of a depressive state in response to the break-up." Season four will see Zosia Mamet guest star as an old figure in Gretchen's life, and Lou Diamond Phillips will guest star in one episode as a figure from Lindsay's past. "You're the Worst" returns Wednesday, September 6th on FXX.
