VIDEO : Who Is The New President In Hollywood?

The Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences Board of Governors has chosen John Bailey as their new president. He is the 36th president of the Hollywood organization and he is known for his work in film. He has done works such as "American Gigolo" and "Ordinary People." Although the position of president is mostly ceremonial, the Academy does oversea the Oscars and therefore the president overseas the Oscars as well. The last president, Cheryl Boone Isaacs was not only the third woman to be president but the first African American. During her terms, talks of diversity and inclusion in the Oscars intensified.
