David Letterman is returning to TV with a new Netflix series. The former "Late Show" host, who retired in May 2015, is set to host the series starting in 2018. The short series (containing only 6 episodes) will contain hour-long episodes made up of what Letterman does best: long form interviews and ?in-the-field? segments. The show does not yet have a name. In a statement, Letterman says quote "I feel excited and lucky to be working on this project for Netflix.
