VIDEO : Jeff Goldblum Settled Marvel Vs. DC Debate

Audiences will see Jeff Goldblum make his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut later this year in Thor: Ragnarok. But years before the actor nabbed his role as The Grandmaster, he had a rather amusing opinion on the rivalry between Marvel and DC.
Back in the spring of 2016, Goldblum was asked about his preference between the two comic book empires during an interview with MTV News. The actor proceeded to grimace, and respond with the following.
"What's the difference?" Goldblum asked. "They're both comics."
While Goldblum had hinted that a comic book-inspired role would be on the horizon for him, he was very vague as to which cinematic universe it would fall under.
"I'm in every camp, I'm nothing." Goldblum explained. "I'm open to all."
Ironically enough, Goldblum's casting in Ragnarok was announced about a month later. Fans have since embraced his casting in the film, even editing its latest poster to put Goldblum in ever role. Still, his answer to the storied debate is pretty admirable - and the facial expression he made while answering it is hilarious.
Thor: Ragnarok opens in theaters on November 3, 2017.
