Fans and film critics are disappointed that ?The Dark Tower,? a film based off a Stephen King series, did not live up to it?s potential. Many are also disappointed that the films star, Idris Elba, was not given a good-enough platform to show off his acting chops. According to the hollywood reporter, ?The good news about ?The Dark Tower? is that Elba is the best thing in the film. The bad news is that Elba is the only good thing in the film, even with a relatively modest $60 million budget, it?s easy to imagine this potential film series stopping after this entry.?
