Samuel L. Jackson is revealing the unusual way he found out that he was going to be appearing in Captain Marvel.
Rumors surfaced that Jackson was going to appear in Captain Marvel. But the interesting thing is, once those rumors turned out to be true, Jackson apparently didn?t get the memo from the studio that he was not only starring in the film, but that Fury would be younger and have both of his eyes since Captain Marvel is set in the 1990s.
Jackson said he learned about the news the same way most people learn about things these days: He read about it online.
Jackson said,
?It will be easier to learn my lines. It?s one of those weird things I figured out. The first day I shot as Nick Fury, with one eye, I couldn?t remember my lines. I was tired because we were coming from somewhere and I thought it was fatigue, and I realized I learned my lines with two eyes so I started blocking my eye ? it?s a stupid kind of thing, but it totally works.?
