According to Uproxx, Ian Ziering, best known for his role on the 90's hit show 90210, was paid $500,000 to make Sharknado 5. The film reportedly cost $3 million dollars, meaning that the actor's pay check represented a sixth of the total budget. Uproxx explains that Ziering asked for a raise in 2014, when Sharknado 3 was under development. Back then, they say, he was paid $400,000 per picture, allegedly claiming that he took the role in the first Sharknado film to keep his SAG membership and health insurance. Uproxx adds that Ziering's pay day is bigger than Wonder Woman's Gal Gadot, who was paid $300,000.
