According to The Hollywood Reporter, actor Vin Diesel's production company 'One Race Television' is developing a reboot of the 1980s TV show 'Miami Vice' with Universal Television. Reports add that Diesel personally appealed to NBC Entertainment president Jennifer Salke to make it happen. Diesel will serve as one of several executive producers on the show, which is still in early development. No timetable has been announced for when production might begin or when an air date will be scheduled.
