Oscar winner, Nicole Kidman, says that that the small screen is where it's at for women. Speaking at the Australian premiere of 'Top Of The Lake: China Girl,' she explained that when it comes to roles for women, they are more diverse and complex in TV than in film. According to the Hollywood Reporter, the actress also earned an Emmy nomination for her work on the TV series, 'Big Little Lies.' Kidman adds,
"I think there's an enormous appeal for actors working there because you have time to develop a character and for stories to unfold." Co-producing the series with Resse Witherspoon, Kidman says, the show "...was born out of a desire to create an opportunity for ourselves and our friends.?
