Kid Rock is running for a Senate position in his home state of Michigan. The timing of his announcement seems like a publicity stunt, where he's hoping to turn fans into political supporters. Rock probably does not know too much about governing, but thinks he can be involved in politics because he's a man. One of the main reasons women don't run for office, is that they do not think they are qualified enough.
