Fans are eagerly anticipating the official debut of Hela, portrayed by Cate Blanchet, after being wowed by her showing in the first two trailers for Thor: Ragnarok.
What exactly convinced the Oscar-winning actress to lend her talents to the Marvel Cinematic Universe film? As the actress recently revealed to E! News, she was on board with the project as soon as a certain scene was pitched to her. That was the scene where Hela destroys Thor's (Chris Hemsworth) trusty hammer Mjolnir.
Blanchett explained, "That had me at ?hello,? actually. I thought that was really exciting that they were prepared to destroy Thor?s power in the first few minutes. So, yeah, it?s a nice entrance."
